Answer
How much does live jersey printing cost?
Staffed stations start around $5,000 for a local event, staffing runs $250 per hour, and most corporate programs land between $25 and $40 per guest all-in. Below that headline, two decisions swing the number more than everything else combined.
Anchors
The figures you can plan against
Those hold for a normal build. What they do not tell you is where your event sits inside them, and the honest answer is that a 200-jersey job on client-supplied kit and a 200-jersey job with premium sourced blanks are not close to the same quote.
Swing
The two decisions that matter most
Who supplies the jerseys
On a sourced-blank job, garments are frequently the largest single line. Supplying your own kit removes that line entirely and you pay for crew, transfers and logistics. Teams and leagues almost always take this path; brand activations usually do not, because they want the garment on-palette.
Whether names are known
Known names get gang-printed onto transfer sheets before the event, which turns each jersey into a pick-and-press. Crew hours are the biggest cost on a supplied-garment job, so compressing them is the most direct saving available to you.
Everything else — lane count, options menu, art prep, travel — adjusts the number at the margins. These two set its shape.
Build
How the quote is actually assembled
Four buckets. Crew hours, billed at $250/hr and counted from load-in to the last case going back on the truck — setup and teardown are real work and we quote them rather than burying them. Garments, if we are sourcing. Production materials: transfer stock, platen supplies, consumables. Prep: art preparation, proofing, roster cleaning, color matching and the pre-event press testing on a garment from your actual run.
Then we sanity-check the total against a per-guest figure, because that is the number your finance team will ask about. If it lands outside $25–$40 we will tell you why — usually a premium garment, an unusually short window that needs extra lanes, or travel.
Why there is no price table on this site
Because it would mislead you. The same jersey count is a two-lane five-hour job or a four-lane two-hour job depending on your run of show, and those price very differently. A table would either quote the easy version and disappoint you, or quote the hard version and lose your business for no reason. Send the inputs and get a real number instead.
What is genuinely not in the quote
Nothing is held back for later. Setup and teardown hours are in the crew line. Transfers and consumables are in materials. Art prep is its own line and is quoted before we start it, not billed after. If travel applies it is stated as travel. The only things that move after signature are things you change — a bigger jersey target, an added lane for a peak we did not know about, or a garment upgrade.
